We took some time out to have a chat with Shepherd Mutamba, the Public Relations Manager of Tuku Music  in order to find out how having us develop and manage their website has helped them, as a business. Exist Digital: How has having a website developed and managed by us helped you in your business so far?

Tuku Music: We treat www.tukumusik.com as the window for Oliver Mtukudzi, Tuku Music Company and Pakare Paye Arts Centre. The website has enhanced our visibility in terms of news and information, including projects that we disseminate to the world.

The age when everyone relied on newspapers that reserve the right to publish is gone. Websites/ cyber publishing are now the future. We can now interact with fans and the wider music and entertainment sector because our website provides that networking.  We also market our performances through the calendar of events on our site and the hits (reads) on the calendar are very encouraging considering that our new website is barely six months old.

Exist Digital : What challenges are you facing with the website?

Tuku Music : Honestly, there are no challenges right now. Things are perfect and our website host Exist Digital is commended for doing truly professional work especially the speed with which they do our content updates which enables us to disseminate information as things happen.

Exist Digital: Would you recommend a website to someone who does not have it yet?

Tuku Music: Of course yes, I would anytime. In fact, after seeing the Tuku Music website several artists are enquiring through Tuku Music about how and who can develop and host their own websites. I will not hesitate to recommend Exist Digital.

Exist Digital: Is there any area that you would want us to improve on in terms of service delivery and customer service?

Tuku Music: On service delivery, we can’t complain. It’s superb. Exist Digital including your partners FungaiFoto and Zimbojam.com are professionals one can rely on. They make our work much, much manageable. As for customer care, many thanks for the herbal tea that keeps flowing!
