HarvestSMS Hits 700 User Milestone

The HarvestSMS’ service which allows the sending of messages from the web to cellphones both locally and internationally from a minimum charge of 5cents has reached an astounding 700 users, with a network coverage of more than 500 networks.

Lauched by Harvest International in May last year and currently managed by Exist Digital, the www.harvestsms.com’s service ranges from sending single to bulk messages by just one click.

A HarvestSMS spokesperson hints with this service people are able to communicate to their targeted audiences about promotions, new products, public relations or reminders and notices.

“Some of our big clients include Trust Academy, Kingdom Bank, Genesis Bank, ABC Auctions and Truworths, among others.”

“Using the service is fast and easy. Delivery is almost instant. Sending one hundred messages from your cellphone is not easy unlike when you are using HarvestSMS it will be a matter of a single click, she said.”

The spokesperson adds users can schedule messages to be sent at anytime and you can also personalise the messages.

HarvestSMS’ service encompasses everyone, from individuals, business people, social groups, churches, schools and hospitals.

Truworths IT manager, Joseph Kativhu says his firm uses the service for payment reminders and promotions.

“Before this we were using emails and there was a very low turnout as people cited they were not receiving emails. Ever since we started using this service, responses have increased sharply and more and more people are now paying in time.

“As for promotions, there is a huge response whenever we send out messages. We are generally happy with the service and it has made life easier and has increased our turnover significantly,” he said.

The HarvestSMS spokesperson concludes people can log on to www.harvestsms.com and sign up for free to create an account.
